APNC Sweden is now hiring a Statistician, Project Lead!

APNC Sweden is a growing company specializing in medical statistics. Our clients are primarily academic medical researchers as well as pharmaceutical and medical technology companies. Today, APNC Sweden consists of 18 people with diverse backgrounds in statistics, mathematics, bioinformatics, programming, QA, and research. Our headquarters is located in Mölndal, in the growing life science cluster GoCo Health Innovation City. We also have an office at Medicon Village in Lund.

We are now looking for an experienced statistician with a strong interest in medical research and the ability to drive projects independently. Personality and collaboration skills are important traits for meeting our clients and contributing to the company's continued development.

As a Statistician, Project Lead, you will contribute statistical expertise and methodological support throughout the process of clinical studies and research projects. You will play a key role in ensuring high quality, scientific accuracy, and efficient analysis solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for statistical aspects in clinical studies and research projects.
• Participate in study design and the application of statistical methods.
• Develop and review protocols, SAPs (Statistical Analysis Plans), and statistical reports.
• Perform and quality-assure statistical analyses and programming (SAS, R, or Python).
• Act as the statistical contact person in client and project meetings.
• Contribute to scientific publications and regulatory documentation.
• Act as a project manager in certain projects and support colleagues in daily work.
• Contribute to quality work and internal improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• University degree in statistics, mathematical statistics, or mathematics (MSc required, PhD is an advantage).
• Experienced statistician (approx. 5+ years of experience) with good knowledge of clinical research.
• Accustomed to driving projects and communicating with clients.
• Experience in coordinating or leading projects is required.
• Good knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
• Experience with advanced statistical methods and programming.
• Interest in quality, innovation, and collaboration.

Salary and benefits:

• 50,000–55,000 SEK for the position of Statistician, Project Lead.
• Performance-based bonus equivalent to one month's salary per year.
• Generous pension plan (6.5% / 32%).
